"BRINGING HOPE TO THE HOPELESS AND FAITH TO THE FAITHLESS"

HOW WE DO IT

  • Concern Mission International partners with local pastors and missionaries to build professional relationships and promote small business empowerment in the marketplace—especially in countries where traditional ministries face restrictions in reaching people for Christ. We believe that cities are strategic centers for spiritual outreach, as they bring together large populations with diverse needs. Because of the rapid global growth of urbanization—most notably in Africa, the Middle East, South America, and Asia—Concern Mission International prioritizes living and working in major urban areas to effectively share the message of Christ

Emergency Food Distribution

Concern Mission International volunteer workers serve in local communities by distributing essential food supplies—such as rice, oil, and dry kidney beans—to hungry and needy individuals in Liberia. We work hand in hand with the less privileged to empower them and help transform their circumstances. We believe that the poor and marginalized, numbering over eight million people, live on the edges of society with limited opportunities to improve their quality of life. Around the world, millions continue to survive on less than one dollar a day.

Used Clothes, Shoes, and Canned Food Boxes
In Accra, Ghana, and across West Africa, we collaborate with pastors, churches, community leaders, and local organizations to distribute shipments of used clothing, shoes, and non-perishable canned goods to those in need—especially children and women, who are often the most vulnerable when disasters strike. Our team monitors activities at designated distribution centers to assess the impact on children and their families, allowing our pastors and local missionaries to respond effectively to growing needs. Our emergency response and humanitarian efforts currently operate in the United States, Liberia, Ghana, Cameroon, The Gambia, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, and India.
Our Commitment

Concern Mission International exists to provide access to education, promote a clean and safe environment, conduct research on climate change and natural disasters, and deliver medical and humanitarian aid, along with other essential services that benefit people in need. The organization is dedicated to helping the world’s poorest and most vulnerable populations recover from disasters, combat malnutrition and deadly diseases, and build resilience against the impacts of climate change and other hardships.

The Concern Mission International volunteer team carefully plans each clothing distribution by identifying the neighborhoods most in need. Our mission teams sort clothing, shoes, towels, and blankets by age and gender to ensure that as many people as possible benefit on the day of distribution. For the past 23 years, Concern Mission International has been reaching out to the less fortunate across the United States, Africa, and Asia. In the U.S., where winter can be especially harsh for those without shelter, our teams collect donations daily from generous donors and distribute them to bring hope, warmth, and smiles to people experiencing homelessness—those sleeping on sidewalks, street corners, and under bridges.
