Concern Mission International
Minnesota, Minneapolis
While Christianity has been the predominant religion in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and surrounding communities since the 1800s, the metro is a culturally diverse melting pot of faiths. According to a publication by the University of Minnesota, “Global religions have become neighborhood practices in the Twin Cities. Religions such as Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Paganism
Depending on language, country, and traditions, Christians have different religious observances, although they share beliefs. There are three main branches: Protestant, Orthodox and Catholic.
The Protestant branch of Christianity includes Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, Congregational, Baptist, Amish, Quaker and Evangelical denominations.
Concern Mission International is a Nondenominational Christian Humanitarian organization, and the intended purpose of our vision and mission of establishing (Breakthrough Center) churches in the United States and around the world is to break the barrier of denomination; and work to bring religious and non-religious people together, welcoming people from every background and walk of life.

The Concern Mission Kingdom's Expansion Evangelism Program (KEEP) details information, resources, and many others are available through the Offices of the Administrator and Mission Director. Our KEEP program's two primary functions in the city of Minnesota are to help start new churches across Minnesota and to help existing churches grow spiritually, numerically, and in community impact through various processes and tools.
CMI is involved in Congregational Development works to keep healthy churches healthy, assists struggling congregations to find their way, and creates new worship opportunities in areas that are not served (or are under-served) by the Concern Mission International. Efforts are supported through apportionments, grants, and other sources.
